My Senior Project
So in order to graduate Yampah Mountain High School, aside from having an EPortfolio you have to have a senior project. A senior project is a project from you dedicated to the community. My senior project at Rifle High School wasnt really noticeable to the community. All i did was voulunteer at the Rifle Animal Shelter for 24 hours and walked and played with dogs. So this year i wanted my project to be something different. I wanted to give, and i wanted people to think of me. So i decided to make blankets. I went to Denver and went to Hancock Fabrics. I bought 10 yards of Fleece. I was planning on buying more but i had no idea that fabric would be so expensive. But i found alot of cute patterns and colors so i was kind of excited. It took me atleast a month to compleate my blankets. How I made them was I took two peices of fabric and cut slits all on the edges. I tied each slit together and WAA-LAA.=) Im going to donate them to the "Open Gate Assisted Living Home" in Glenwood Springs Colorado. I went there with a couple friends to visit some ladies and paint their nails for Interoom trip and just fell in love with those cute little old ladies. I hope they remember me and love their blankets!
